Various Cards and resources for using with a line or Grid. Ask the children to pick a card and navigate to the corresponding card on the line or grid.

Navigating in a space:
Cones, use the traffic cones to navigate around an open space. These could also be used as skittles to be knocked down.

Literacy Links:
Stories are ideal starting points for work with floor robots. Stories with a journey are particularity good, e.g. Rosies Walk, The Hungry Caterpillar etc.
