E-safety

Is your e-Safety Policy addressing the full scope of current risks in relation to ICT used in your school?

In order to simplify matters schools may consider placing aspects of data security, password security, encryption and all aspects of risk into a single e-Safety policy.  The Wokingham ICT team in conjunction with teachers and staff in schools,  have prepared an All in One E-safety document which outlines all the areas that require consideration that may be placed within a single e-Safety policy.  Sections of the policy cover statutory responsibilities such as the Data Protection Act and the Computer Misuse Act as well as school based policies such as parental agreement with respect to school photography.
